She fell asleep nestled in the soft, black leather couch. This watercolor painting was juried into the Society of Watercolor Artists 2013 International Juried Competition (Ft. Worth, TX) and the Southwestern Watercolor Society 2014 annual show (Richardson, TX).
About Celene Terry
A signature member of both Southwestern Watercolor Society and the Society of Watercolor Artists, and a member of Star Harbor Watercolor Society, Celene paints in watercolor and soft pastel. Known for her vivid use of color and varied subject matter, her work has received multiple awards including Best of Show (Henderson County Art Show twice and Mineola League of the Arts Annual Show), ribbons every year at the State Fair of Texas 2007-2018 including 6 blues, and 3rd place in watercolor at the Irving Art Association juried Wildlife Show 2010.
