This summer I toured Georgia O'Keefe's home and studio in Abiquiu, New Mexico. I loved the way the passageway between sections of the home framed the garden area perfectly spotlighting the tree.
A signature member of both Southwestern Watercolor Society and the Society of Watercolor Artists, and a member of Star Harbor Watercolor Society, Celene paints in watercolor and soft pastel. Known for her vivid use of color and varied subject matter, her work has received multiple awards including Best of Show (Henderson County Art Show twice and Mineola League of the Arts Annual Show), ribbons every year at the State Fair of Texas 2007-2018 including 6 blues, and 3rd place in watercolor at the Irving Art Association juried Wildlife Show 2010.
